A leading immigration law firm is seeking a skilled Business Immigration Attorney on a remote, long-term contract basis. The role requires hands-on experience with complex visa classifications (O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW) and the ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload. The successful candidate will be confident preparing and responding to RFEs and able to contribute immediately with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file petitions for O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW visa classifications.
- Draft and respond to RFEs and NOIDs with thorough legal analysis and supporting evidence.
- Manage a caseload of business immigration matters, ensuring timely filings and compliance with USCIS requirements.
- Conduct legal research on complex immigration issues and advise clients on case strategies.
- Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and other attorneys to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate with clients on case status, required documentation, and next steps.
Qualifications
- Member of a U.S. state bar or the Washington, D.C. Bar (active and in good standing).
- 3-5+ years of business immigration experience with a strong focus on O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW cases.
- Demonstrated success preparing RFEs, appeals, and other complex case filings.
- Ability to manage high-volume caseloads and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience working with corporate clients, high-profile individuals, or in a high-volume immigration practice strongly preferred.
- Must be available to work West Coast business hours.
