Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our organization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our company with various immigration matters especially employment based immigration visa for foreign prospective employees, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with federal standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and filing immigration applications and petitions, especially employment-based cases (L1, H1B,H3 and O1 visas.
- Conduct legal research related to immigration law and stay updated on changes in regulations.
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and correspondence for clients and government agencies.
- Manage case files using document management systems to ensure all documents are organized and accessible.
- Provide executive administrative support by scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing communications.
- Utilize LexisNexis for legal research and case law analysis as needed.
- Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within the legal field.
- Familiarity with employment based immigration law is a plus.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and document preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.

Pay: $22.19 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 28 per week
