Responsibilities
Team Summary:
The AMS Work Visa team is dedicated to ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations across the Americas region. We manage vendor relationships, oversee immigration case workflows, and support employees throughout their visa and work authorization processes. Our team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate documentation and uphold the integrity of all immigration-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries related to immigration petitions and applications (e.g., H-1B, L-1, PERM, TN, O-1, Green Cards) via internal platforms.
- Assist with the preparation of Form I-983.
- Maintain accurate immigration records and case files.
- Coordinate with employees, HR, and legal teams to gather required documentation and information.
- Track case statuses and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance.
- Communicate with government agencies (USCIS, DOL, etc.) under supervision.
- Support employees through the immigration process by answering basic inquiries and providing updates.
- Help monitor changes in immigration policies and support compliance initiatives.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, reporting, and document management.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive immigration information with discretion.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in immigration, HR, or legal support (internship or prior office experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in data analysis and/or case management systems (e.g., Tracker, INSZoom, or similar tools).
- Knowledge of U.S. immigration processes.
