Global Construction Management firm based in Midtown is currently seeking a Compliance and Immigration Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing global mobility and coordinate all aspects of employment-based (immigrant and non-immigrant) visa applications including case initiation, document collection, and filing. You will also provide consultation to hiring departments on visa eligibility, sponsorship timelines, and company guidelines. You will also maintain compliance with Department of Labor requirements and related documentation; Oversee employment-based green card cases from start to finish; partner with external immigration attorneys as needed to ensure thorough, accurate, and timely filings. Maintain records of immigration filings in systems to support audits, reporting, and internal tracking. There will also be other HR-related support for the team including updating policies, employee engagement, HRIS implementations and more!
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in employment-based immigration, including both nonimmigrant visa and green card processing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. immigration regulations and compliance (I-9 and E-Verify etc..)
- Exposure to international HR programs and global mobility processes.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
