Milstein Law Group, a women-owned and led boutique firm in lower Manhattan, is seeking a skilled Legal Writer specializing in drafting O-1 and EB-1A visa petitions.
In this role, you will focus exclusively on preparing detailed, high-quality petitions without direct client contact, collaborating closely with multiple attorneys to support a growing caseload.
This position offers the flexibility of fully remote or hybrid work (for those based in NYC) and requires the ability to work independently, meet deadlines consistently, and produce clear and persuasive legal writing.
Here’s essential information about the role:
- Start Date: As soon as possible (with the understanding that currently employed candidates will need to give notice).
- Salary Range: $70K/year to $85K/year, or commensurate with experience.
- Work Location: 100% remote or hybrid option in lower Manhattan office.

- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years drafting and filing successful EB-1A and O-1 petitions.

As a Legal Writer, you will:
- Draft O-1 and EB-1A visa petitions with precision, ensuring all legal requirements and client information is accurate.
- Collaborate with multiple attorneys by managing assignments through the case and project management systems (Docketwise and Trello), prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Prepare recommendation/testimonial letters and other supporting documents, while maintaining high-quality writing standards and following firm guidelines.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of writing assignments while coordinating with attorneys for revisions and final approvals.
