Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of immigration matters and a strong commitment to immigrant communities. You will represent clients in various immigration processes, including removal defense, family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation in removal/deportation proceedings before EOIR
- Prepare and file immigration applications and petitions, including asylum, adjustment of status, naturalization, U visas, waivers, DACA, TPS, family-based petitions and employment-based petitions
- Represent clients in USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings
- Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies
- Work collaboratively with legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD).
- Licensed and in good standing with Massachusetts bar
- Fluency in Spanish / Portuguese or Hindi, strongly preferred but not necessary
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service
- Ability to manage a full caseload and work independently in a fast-paced environment
