Our law firm is seeking a passionate Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in asylum or Special Immigrant Juvenile Petition cases to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling humanitarian-based and defensive asylum cases in our office. This role requires a commitment to helping immigrants in need and a willingness to go above and beyond for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a true team player who collaborates effectively with all staff members.
One of the key aspects of this position is regular travel to the San Antonio immigration court, with weekly court appearances via webex. Travel expenses are fully reimbursed by the firm. In addition to courtroom work, you will have the opportunity to provide vital legal assistance to vulnerable individuals seeking refuge in the United States. The salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience.

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Bar in any state (Texas Preferred or willing to waive-in)
- 1-5 years of experience in asylum or Special Immigrant Juvenile Petition cases
- Ability to travel to San Antonio immigration court weekly
- Passion for humanitarian-based legal work
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Bilingual in Spanish or Nepali preferred
