We are excited to announce the opening of new offices in Poland, marking an important step in our firm’s strategic expansion across Central and Eastern Europe.
This role supports and drives the firm’s engagement with the Polish government in all matters relating to immigration and mobility, as well as regulatory bodies and think tanks. The role is pivotal in shaping the firm’s knowledge of policy strategy and in fostering key stakeholder relationships across government and other regulatory bodies.
The role will also formulate and provide authoritative guidance, advice, training and knowledge leadership both internally and externally on immigration policies and regulatory changes, ensuring firm and clients remain informed and compliant.
What your day will look like:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, policymakers, regulatory bodies and think tanks concerned with immigration and mobility policies.Represent the firm in meetings, working groups, and industry associations to influence policy and regulatory developments.
Monitor, analyse, and interpret legislative and regulatory developments related to immigration. Serve as the firm's subject matter expert on immigration laws and regulations. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to provide strategic guidance on regulatory risks and opportunities, ensuring best practices are implemented across the organisation.
Design and deliver internal and external training programmes, workshops, knowledge-sharing initiatives and material to ensure colleagues and clients are up to date with immigration regulations and compliance requirements. Actively share legal expertise through knowledge hubs, and direct support to team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Develop reports, position papers, and insights on immigration trends and policy changes that impact global mobility and business operations. Publish authoritative insights and contribute to industry discussions.
Manage to the storage and accessibility of country specific knowledge materials and organising teams for their upkeep.
Partner with international counterparts to align regional policy strategies with the firm’s global government affairs objectives.
Support local legal team:
Act as subject matter expert; deliver strategic legal counsel on complex client matters and internal processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws. This includes advising on challenging immigration cases with no clear pathways, where sound judgment and tailored, legal strategies are required to ensure the lawful and effective movement of foreign nationals.
Lead and contribute to the development of compliant, efficient internal procedures that enable teams to deliver client solutions swiftly and with confidence.
Help teams to establish standard structure of applications and services in a way that aligns with both regulatory frameworks and client goals, ensuring optimal outcomes and faster approvals.
Collaborate with leadership and business development teams to identify, design, and implement new service lines or practice areas that can generate additional revenue streams and increase market competitiveness.
In collaboration with Poland leadership, take a lead role in marketing and business development initiatives for the new immigration practice in Poland, including brand positioning, client outreach, and strategic partnership development to drive growth and market presence. Accountable for meaningful social media presence including establishing strong LinkedIn presence

We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and highly motivated professional who combines legal expertise in immigration with strong policy insight, advocacy skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across global teams.
Qualified legal professional (lawyer) with demonstrable experience in Polish immigration law and policy.
Proven ability to engage with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders, ideally in an advocacy or policy advisory capacity.
Strong understanding of immigration policy trends and regulatory frameworks, both at the national and EU levels.
Experience advising on and managing complex immigration matters, including eligibility assessments, legal strategy development, and process navigation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Polish and English.
Proven ability to deliver training, workshops, or knowledge-sharing initiatives to internal and/or external audiences.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and compliance oversight.
Proactive and strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Understanding of or interest in private client services and advisory-based offerings.
Familiarity with knowledge management systems or platforms.
Established network within the government affairs or legal policy landscape in Poland or the EU.
Experience contributing to thought leadership content, such as white papers, articles, or presentations.
