Do you love the nitty-gritty of case prep for O-1As and EB-1As as well as meeting with prospective clients in the entrepreneurial and tech space to discuss strategy? But not the neverending business challenge to keep up a steady stream of incoming work?

Tukki, a legal tech startup headquartered in Miami, Florida, is seeking a fully remote Immigration Attorney with 5 to 8 years of experience to work as a fulltime contractor with a pay range of $130K/year to $150K/year.

It’s a unique arrangement and will likely be best suited to a solo practitioner with their practice already in place who thrives at legal work and excels with client communications but would like steady work. The Immigration Attorney in this role will maintain their own independence to make legal decisions and provide legal advice to clients.

While the Immigration Attorney in this role will focus on managing the preparation and filing of O-1As and EB-1As, and will be heavily supported by the Tukki sales team, the Immigration Attorney must have strong people and sales skills to “close the deal” with new clients.

As Immigration Attorney, you will oversee the preparation of casework by Tukki’s team of paralegals and approve the filing of EB-1As and O-1s all while using Tukki’s extraordinary proprietary technology platform for case and client management.

Here is important information about the role:

Work Location: 100% fully remote. (There may be optional in-person team meetups throughout the year.)
Salary Range: $130K/year to $150K/year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Timezone: Must be available to work Eastern Time as needed.
Benefits: 20 flex PTO days plus additional end-of-year holiday PTO as well as equity.
Start Date: As soon as possible. You will begin with managing/drafting one case and conducting initial client consultations before a full-time contract is signed to ensure a good fit for both sides.

More About You

You have 5 to 8 years of immigration experience with both routine and complex EB-1As and O-1As, a deep understanding of U.S. immigration law, and can set legal strategies and efficiently conduct case reviews.

In this role, you will also provide feedback on improving Tukki’s case management system.
