Job Summary
-Ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish), self-starter who takes initiative to get things done and who is interested in growing with our firm.
- Handle a caseload consisting of immigration assessments, USCIS filings, EOIR matters, and Family Law matters with minimal supervision.
- Perform an in-depth review of all client’s FOIA results, in addition to facts gathered from the client, in order to make an accurate and proper assessment and advise the client of his/her immigration options.
-Meet filing deadlines for cases as directed by the Firm.
-Perform an in-depth review of all USCIS and EOIR Filings submitted to court.
-Attend all EOIR Court Hearings and USCIS Interviews and Family Law hearings online and/or in person.
-Prepare and draft declarations, cover letters, motions and briefs.
-Hold meetings with clients and be prepared to answer any questions relevant to their case with accuracy.
-Practice exceptional client management and ensure satisfaction of the client throughout the duration of the case.
-Provide accurate case information if requested by other departments.
-Be able to perform all the above duties independently with minimal to no supervision. Other duties as directed.
The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively within a law office environment and contribute to the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
