Michelle Gonzalez Inc. in Huntington Park (Los Angeles) is seeking a Spanish-speaking Associate Immigration Attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to join their team in a full-time onsite role to handle family-based cases and deportation defense.

Here is important information about the role:
- What You Will Work On: Family-based immigration (I-130s, I-485s, consular processing), naturalization, and removal defense.
- Salary range: $100K/year to $125K/Year, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Benefits: Health Insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), and sick leave.
- Schedule: 5 days in person at the Huntington Park office.
- Language Requirements: English/Spanish bilingual fluency or professional proficiency.
- Educational Requirements + Bar Admission : Law degree from an ABA-accredited school required. CA bar admission preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle: Must be able to drive throughout the Los Angeles area.
More About What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll manage an Immigration Court and USCIS caseload in a high-volume environment. You’ll provide immigration and naturalization advice and keep clients and staff aware of changing regulations.
Here’s what else you’ll do:
- Conduct client consultations.
- Make appearances at all master calendar and merits hearings.
- Appear at all USCIS interviews.
- Write motions to reopen and appeals with AAO, EOIR, and BIA.
- Write I-601A waivers and other inadmissibility waivers.
- Manage client communications via email and phone.
- Conduct legal research as necessary.
