Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for removal defense and immigrants' rights. This role requires an individual who is ready to fight in immigration courts for our clients. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in immigration courts and attending master hearings, individual hearings, filing required evidence, and other related activities.

Responsibilities

Manage a moderate case load of cases in immigration court.
Draft and review legal documents.
Represent clients in litigation and negotiations to resolve disputes effectively.
Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools like Westlaw to support case preparation.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
Advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable laws.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive client representation.
Manage case files efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
Experience in immigration law.
Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail.
Ability to litigate cases effectively in court settings.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
