Our client seeks an experienced immigration attorney to join their dynamic team. This role involves collaborating with colleagues, clients, and foreign nationals to provide comprehensive immigration legal services.
Responsibilities
- Case Preparation and Strategy: Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters. Develop in-depth knowledge of client cases, including employment-based immigration petitions (EB1, EB2-NIW, PERM, I-485, L-1, H1B, O-1, etc.).
- Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research to identify applicable statutes and judicial decisions, and develop innovative solutions to complex immigration issues.
- Client Communication and Education: Effectively communicate with clients and foreign nationals, explaining legal terminology clearly and concisely. Provide training on immigration law and regulatory updates.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support team projects.
- Case Management and Supervision: Manage diverse caseloads, meet tight deadlines, and supervise paralegal staff to ensure accurate and timely document preparation.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of immigration law changes and their potential impact on clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment-based immigration law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for immigration law and a commitment to client service.
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience with a variety of immigration visa categories
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
