Position Type: Full time
Compensation: $76,500.00 - 100,600.00 per year
Location: Remote with ability to attend in person meetings and work sessions as needed.
Schedule: The core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a typical work week of around 50 hours. We ask for flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends to meet project needs. *Schedules may change based on business needs. May include holidays and alternate workdays or hours as needed.

The Paralegal will assist the General Counsel by providing clerical and research support services including document preparation and review; interviewing clients and witnesses; research, investigations, and fact checking; and trial preparation.
What you’ll be doing:
Meet with General Counsel, attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements.
Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
Assist General Counsel with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.
Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Paralegal certificate required.
2-4 years related experience preferred.

Work Environment:
Usual office working conditions. This position will have desk space with a computer and a phone. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee is frequently required to use their hands. The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse and the ability to dial, answer, and talk on a telephone. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This job requires the ability to occasionally work in stressful conditions and remain focused for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; boxes, documents and/or other items.
