Our client, a global law firm, is seeking an Attorney for their Immigration Practice. This individual will represent multinational private and public companies, entrepreneurs, start-ups, as well as individuals and families around the world.

Schedule: This role requires being in the office 5 (five) days a week.
Salary: $170k - $205k
Billable Hours: 1,600

Responsibilities:

Handle case preparation and filing with government agencies, including gathering, reviewing, drafting documents, and case filing for non-immigrant visa applications, and develop strategies for complex matters.
Manage all types of business immigration processes, including, but not limited to, EB-1, NIW, PERM, O-1, E-2/E-1, L-1, H-1B, Conrad 30 waivers, hardship waivers, EB-5.
Prepare documents, forms, and letters using web-based software and adapt resources when needed to deviate from templates.
Communicate and follow-up with attorneys, clients, and government agencies to ensure delivery and receipt of materials.
Perform research to obtain information such as, but not limited to, industry or company information, wage data, or processing procedures and timelines.
Assesss cases, relay concerns, and proactively escalate to attorneys.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience as an immigration attorney, preferably in a law firm.
New York Bar membership is required.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
