Hogan and Vandenberg, LLC, a well-established Immigration Law Firm looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Litigation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal functions across our litigation team. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals across the department.
Preparing EAD Applications, Case inquiries, Withdrawal Applications, and other immigration case work as assigned by Attorneys and Case Managers.
Manage and organize legal documents.
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials with precision and attention to detail.
Assist with client communication by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking detailed notes during interviews or consultations, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Handle procedural tasks including document review and filing with Immigration court, DHS, and USCIS.
Managing calendars, coordinating appointments, answering phones with professionalism, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Supporting Attorneys and legal staff with copying, printing, scanning of files and client documents.
Generating emails, reports, memos as assigned by Attorneys and Case Managers.
If Receptionist is unavailable will assist in greeting visitors within the office, including setting up meeting rooms

Requirements

Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
4 year college preferred but not required
Preference for bilingual in English and Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, or Arabic
Willingness to take on added responsibilities and learn new things.
Ability to show initiative and work as part of a team.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt quickly to firm-specific software.
Excellent time management skills.
High School degree.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
