Role Description This full-time on-site Immigration Paralegal role at Aragao Law | International Business Law & Immigration is based in Miami, FL. The Immigration Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing and organizing immigration petitions and applications, including family-based, employment-based, and business-related visas. Daily responsibilities include gathering client information and documentation, maintaining case files, drafting and reviewing legal forms and supporting letters, and monitoring case deadlines. The role involves direct client communication to clarify case details, provide status updates, and coordinate signatures and filings. The Immigration Paralegal will also liaise with government agencies as needed, perform legal and procedural research, and help ensure all submissions comply with current immigration regulations and firm standards.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to understand and apply legal procedures in a law firm setting.
Knowledge of Immigration Law and familiarity with common Immigration Issues affecting individuals and businesses.
Experience working with Visas, including preparation and tracking of various visa categories and petitions.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting forms, letters, and supporting documentation for immigration matters.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency with case management software and standard office applications.
Prior experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant preferred; paralegal certificate or relevant academic background is beneficial.
Professionalism in client interactions and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus, given the client base and practice focus.
