Albizu Law Firm, an immigration and family law practice in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Spanish-speaking Immigration Paralegal with 1 to 5 years of experience in family-based, humanitarian-based, and removal cases to join their practice.
Key info about the role:
- Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 per year for candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience (especially those with knowledge of removal, bonds, and habeas). For those candidates with zero or less experience, the pay would be hourly between $25/hr to $28/hr. Performance-based bonuses are also available whether the role is hourly or salaried.

- Work Location: Fully in person in Austin, Texas. Potential of hybrid work schedule after six months for an experienced candidate.
- Language: Fluency/professional proficiency in Spanish is an absolute must.
- Benefits: Medical (health, vision, dental), 401(k), short and long-term disability insurance, and PTO.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Day-to-Day: Under supervision of attorneys, prepare/assemble/file family-based I-130s/CP/AOS/waivers, SIJs, U visas and VAWA as well as asylum, and assist with removal defense, BIA appeals, ICE bonds, and federal litigation including habeas corpus. Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, interviews, and court proceedings. Manage client communications and maintain meticulous client files.
