Job Title: Immigration Attorney (Client Consultations)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Immigration Attorney with at least one year of experience in immigration law to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, knowledgeable, and confident in handling client consultations, evaluating immigration cases, and providing legal guidance on a variety of immigration matters.
This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build trust with prospective and existing clients, and a commitment to delivering outstanding legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and return client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct consultations with prospective and existing clients regarding immigration matters.
- Assess eligibility for immigration benefits and identify appropriate legal strategies.
- Explain immigration processes, requirements, risks, and timelines to clients.
- Provide legal advice on family-based immigration, adjustment of status, naturalization, humanitarian relief, and other immigration matters.
- Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and client records.
- Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Stay current on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and legal representation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience practicing immigration law.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and procedures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct client consultations with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish-English) required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with family-based petitions, waivers, naturalization, removal defense, or humanitarian cases.
- Proven ability to convert consultations into retained clients.
- Experience working in a fast-paced law firm environment.
