Tasks (Description of main tasks)
- Manage end-to-end US immigration processes and Extensions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine and advise on the best visa strategy for potential candidates and internal transfers/moves
- Coordinate with attorneys for immigration filings, documentation, and compliance
- Serve as a liaison between employees, HR partners, hiring managers, and external immigration counsel
- Collect and review employee documentation required for visa petitions
- Maintain and update employee records and immigration tracking sheets
- Guide candidates and stakeholders on visa status, timelines, and process expectations
- Ensure adherence to US immigration policies and internal compliance standards
- Support maintenance of Public Access Files (PAFs) and other compliance documentation as required
- Handle the end-to-end green card process, including PERM postings and recruitment efforts
- Maintain adherence to company policies and legal requirements, managing risk and resolving employee issues fairly
- Assist with immigration reporting and data requests from HR leadership
- Support immigration program audits and documentation reviews
- Identifies opportunities to improve immigration processes and workflows
- Provides leadership and/or consultation on other HR special projects and/or initiatives
Requirements For The Position (e.g. Training, Experience, Education, Etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience in Immigration, with preference on experience in corporate-focused immigration cases
- Knowledge of US work authorization types and immigration procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage and initiate effective cross-functional relationships.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship
