Are you an experienced Employment-Based Immigration Paralegal looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing law firm? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented immigration professional who can independently manage employment-based immigration matters while providing exceptional client service in a collaborative environment.

About the Role
This role will manage employment-based immigration cases from start to finish, including PERM labor certifications, employment-based petitions, and green card applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling deadlines independently, managing multiple cases, and partnering with attorneys and clients throughout the immigration process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employment-based immigration cases from initiation through completion.
- Prepare and oversee PERM labor certification cases, including:
- Prevailing Wage Requests (ETA 9141)
- Recruitment activities
- ETA 9089 filings
- Prepare and file employment-based petitions and applications, including:
- I-140 petitions
- Employment-based green card applications
- Nonimmigrant visa petitions (H-1B, L-1, TN, O, E, F, B, etc.)
- Draft responses to RFEs, audits, motions to reopen, and appeals.
- Coordinate with attorneys on complex and time-sensitive cases.
- Maintain accurate case records and track deadlines within case management systems.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates, next steps, and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and internal procedures.
- Assist with training team members and identifying process improvements.
- Support client inquiries, legal mail, billing questions, and escalated matters as needed.
What You Bring
- 1–2+ years of experience handling employment-based immigration cases.
- Strong knowledge of the PERM process, including ETA 9141, recruitment, ETA 9089, I-140 petitions, and employment-based green cards.
- Experience with employment-based nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, O, E, F, B, etc.) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification preferred.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Comfortable learning new technology and case management systems.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a strong client-service mindset.

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $70,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
