We are seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join a collaborative legal team in Atlanta, supporting a sophisticated corporate immigration practice. This role offers exposure to a broad range of employment-based immigration matters and the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and corporate clients on high-volume, complex cases.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage and support end-to-end business immigration casework, including:
- Preparing and filing employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-1/E-2, O-1, and related classifications
- Preparing PERM labor certification applications and coordinating the recruitment and compliance process
- Drafting employment-based immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, and naturalization/citizenship filings
- Preparing detailed support letters and assembling complete petition packages
- Communicating directly with corporate clients and foreign nationals throughout the case lifecycle
- Gathering, reviewing, and organizing supporting documentation and evidence
- Conducting case audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness
- Monitoring case status and maintaining communication with government agencies as needed
- Researching immigration regulations, procedures, and filing requirements
- Tracking deadlines, approvals, expirations, and maintaining accurate records within the case management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of business immigration experience required
- Hands-on experience with:
- Employment-based nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, E-1/E-2, O-1, etc.)
- PERM labor certification processing
- Employment-based immigrant visa petitions
- Adjustment of Status applications
- Consular processing
- Naturalization/citizenship applications
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with immigration case management systems preferred
Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
- Monday–Friday, full-time
