Job Summary:
National Law Firm is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join its fast-paced, high-volume Immigration Group in New York City.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong employment-based immigration experience to take ownership of complex matters and support sophisticated clients through every stage of the process.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct case intake, assess eligibility, and help identify and resolve potential issues
- Analyze supporting documentation and prepare employment-based immigration filings
- Draft petitions, applications, and supporting letters, including H-1B and L-1 petitions
- Manage case lifecycles from initiation through filing and final disposition
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of all filings
- Communicate case updates, issues, and timelines with attorneys and internal teams
- Take full ownership of assigned matters and maintain high standards of accuracy and organization
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in business immigration
- Strong hands-on experience with H-1B and L-1 visa petitions (required)
- Solid understanding of immigration law, terminology, and research practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree required
