OVERVIEW:
Under the direct supervision of the Content Manager, the Content Coordinator is responsible for organizing, creating, and maintaining legal content resources across multiple platforms. The Content Coordinator role works closely with other members of the Knowledge Management department to deliver accurate, high-quality content to internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow structured processes, proactive communication, and ongoing development of subject-matter expertise.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Under the supervision of the Content Manager):
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and depth in content creation.
- Write and edit immigration processing outlines, communication templates, intake questionnaires, and workflows for external clients.
- Develop user guides, manuals, tutorials, FAQs, SOPs, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and usability.
- Complete defined, routine, or standardized tasks using templates, checklists, and established specifications.
- Digest detailed and multi-step instructions to complete specific content configurations accurately.
- Implement quality control processes to review content for accuracy, completeness, grammar, style, and clarity; ensure work is self-reviewed prior to hand-off.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate content accuracy and alignment with requirements.
- Communicate proactively, clearly, and thoughtfully regarding task status, progress, and risks; share updates in a structured manner.
- Offer ongoing support to users to maximize the effectiveness and adoption of the knowledge base.
- Regularly communicate content updates and improvements to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure knowledge management systems integrate effectively into workflows.
- Assist with data mapping and support knowledge document automation initiatives.
- Apply feedback consistently and demonstrate steady growth in knowledge, accuracy, and professional capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Technical Writing, English, International Studies, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in content coordination, content management, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in clear, concise language.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Ability to follow structured processes and multi-step instructions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with document management systems and collaboration tools.
- Previous experience working in U.S. immigration or global mobility preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Able to maintain a sedentary position for up to 90% of the work day
- Able to type and grasp, grip, push, and pull file drawers and doors
- Able to walk and climb stairs or use an elevator to coordinate with other departments
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand to access files and documents
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs of files and/or boxes
