Aparicio Immigration Law (AIL) is a high-performing boutique immigration law firm based in Chicago’s West Loop. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of experience and a genuine commitment to immigration law and client advocacy.
This role offers meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client engagement, and the opportunity to develop as a litigation-focused immigration attorney within a collaborative, high-expectation environment. Key Responsibilities
Represent clients before the Chicago Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Advise clients on complex immigration matters, strategy, and available forms of relief.
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy grounded in strong legal analysis.
Oversee and manage filings with EOIR, USCIS, and ICE.
Draft and file motions, briefs, and supporting legal documentation.
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure high-quality case outcomes.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar license in good standing
1–2 years of immigration law experience
Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases
Demonstrated commitment to immigration law and client service
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)
