***Experience with the preparation and filing of immigration applications and petitions with government agencies. Draft, review, and file legal documents, legal research, travel to visit detained clients, court hearings. Experience with Removal/deportation Defense, Asylum, U Visas and Family based petitions, DACA, Permanent Residencies, Naturalization and Consular Processing, Cancellation of Removal, FOIA's, Bond Packets, Asylum Applications, Adjustment of Status Forms, Motions.
Requirements: The ideal candidate must be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize work load in extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines; be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding service to the families we serve; be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced changing environment; organized; self-motivated with strong initiative; have a positive attitude; have a professional demeanor in appearance and manner. An ideal candidate will be energetic, quick learner, self-starter, knowledge of immigration law (family and deportation defense).
