Purpose of the role
The role holder is responsible for performing intake of cases, analyse case documents and prepare and file immigration applications with the appropriate government agency. The role holder is expected to work as part of a global team, acting as the internal immigration expert, supporting internal teams manage HCPs through the immigration process.
The role holder will collaborate with Recruitment, Marketing, Finance, Payroll, Credentialing, Deployment, Selection, Client Engagement Managers, and Operations teams to ensure the agreed workforce plan is maintained and delivered and that candidates have a positive candidate experience.
- Draft, review, prepare supporting documentation and file non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications (EB3, EB2, E3, H-1B, TN and AOS).
- Review RFEs & NOIDs, organize HCP’s documentation and in collaboration with attorneys, draft and submit responses.
- Monitoring status of all filed applications and proactively manage appropriate activities (inquiries, NVC expedite requests, embassy interviews).
- Process EAD requests and renewals.
- Prepare and maintain H-1B public access files.
- Collaborate with credentialing agency to proactively manage education equivalency assessments.
- Communicate with government agencies to track status and/or resolve issues and concerns.
- Collaborate with client services and legal counsel to request PWDs and maintain valid posting notices.
- Serve as an in-house immigration expert and address HCP escalations as needed.
- Perform a wide range of varied case related duties requiring specialized knowledge and skills in employment-based immigration matters.
- Administer Payments to federal agencies and credentialling agencies.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of immigration experience or equivalent experience within healthcare staffing or similar industries.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
- Delivering high volume with high levels of quality and accuracy.
- Building effective working relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning and organizing workload.
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals.
- Able to multitask with competing demands and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Experience using an Immigration Case Management System.
- Experience using various computer systems, including Microsoft Excel.
