We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented entry-level immigration attorney to join our team. As an immigration attorney, you will work directly with clients on a variety of immigration matters, including visa applications, family-based petitions, waiver applications, green card processes, asylum cases, and deportation defense. You will gain invaluable experience in immigration law while working alongside experienced attorneys in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various immigration matters, including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum, and removal defense.
- Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents for filing with USCIS, the Department of Labor, and other relevant government agencies.
- Represent clients in immigration hearings, including bond hearings, asylum interviews, and removal proceedings.
- Assist in legal research and writing, including preparing briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Maintain accurate client records and manage case files using firm software.
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel on case updates and developments.
- Stay current on immigration laws, policies, and procedures to provide the best possible representation for clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or LLM (Master of Laws) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with a state bar (must be licensed to practice law).
- Strong interest in immigration law and a commitment to helping individuals and families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
