Job Title: Freelance Video Producer / Editor
Location: Remote / Project-Based
Job Type: Freelance / Contract

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and self-sufficient freelance Video Producer with a strong portfolio and their own professional equipment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in video production, including shooting (if required by the project), editing, sound mixing (integrating provided voiceover tracks), color correction, and potentially basic motion graphics. You will be responsible for taking voiceover tracks and concepts and transforming them into high-quality videos for various platforms (e.g., web, social media, corporate).

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the voiceover artist (me) to understand project goals and creative vision.
* Conceptualize and plan video production elements based on scripts and voiceover tracks.
* Shoot original footage if required by the specific project scope (using your own equipment).
* Edit video footage, ensuring seamless integration of voiceover, music, and sound effects.
* Perform color correction and grading to ensure a professional look.
* Source and incorporate stock footage, graphics, or other assets as needed.
* Add basic text overlays, titles, or motion graphics where appropriate.
* Ensure final video quality meets high standards and aligns with project requirements.
* Manage project timelines effectively to meet deadlines.
* Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Deliver final video files in requested formats.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
* At least 4 years of experience in Editing.
* Must own and operate professional-grade video production equipment: This includes camera(s), lighting, audio recording gear (for capturing ambient sound or interviews if needed, not for the primary VO), and a robust editing workstation with relevant software. Please be prepared to list key equipment.
* Proven portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of cinematography, storytelling, editing, color grading, and sound mixing.
* Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
* Experience seamlessly integrating voiceover tracks into video edits.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
* Experience specifically creating videos driven by voiceover (explainer videos, commercials, e-learning, corporate narration).
* Proficiency in motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
* Experience sourcing and licensing stock footage and music.
Compensation:
* Rate is negotiable and will be determined on a per-project basis or an agreed-upon hourly rate, commensurate with experience and project scope.
