Position Overview:
Seeking a freelance paralegal with strong experience preparing H-1B petitions and PERM Labor Certification cases. This is a remote, project-based position with flat-fee compensation per project. We'll ask you for a rate sheet if we like your resume. Ignore the salary amounts listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare USCIS and DOL filings including H-1B petitions, PERM labor certifications, and related immigration forms
- Assemble full petition packages for attorney review
- Meet deadlines and communicate project updates promptly
- Maintain confidentiality and detail accuracy at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of business immigration paralegal experience (law firm or corporate legal department)
- Strong recent experience with H-1B and PERM filings
- Based in the United States
- Able to provide 2–3 professional references
- Willing to undergo a background check
- Reliable internet access and ability to work independently
Compensation:
- Flat fee per project (based on case type and complexity)
- Prompt payment upon completion of each project
