McEntee Law is hiring a skilled writer to help craft compelling narratives for extraordinary immigrants applying for O-1 visas and EB-1A green cards. You'll be writing letters that spotlight our clients’ achievements in fields like music, technology, content creation, sports, academia, and startups.

No immigration law experience? No problem.

We’re looking for strong communicators with a passion for storytelling and a genuine interest in immigration. We’re happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and aligned with our mission.

We’re starting with a part-time role to ensure it’s a great mutual fit, with the potential to transition into a full-time position.

✍️ What You’ll Do:

Write expert and support letters for O-1 and EB-1A cases
Research and analyze client achievements to build persuasive narratives
Collaborate closely with our attorneys and paralegals

You’re a strong writer with excellent research and editing skills
You’re detail-oriented and take pride in polished, error-free writing
You enjoy writing persuasively and telling meaningful, real-life stories
You care deeply about immigration and want to support global talent

Bonus Points If You:

Have experience in immigration, journalism, legal, or academic writing
Are familiar with storytelling formats and tone-matching across disciplines

Note that this position can be remote initially but ideally for a full-time employee, we would love someone who could come into our office in Chicago 2-3 days per week.

Pay commensurate with experience. Starting at $20/hour.
