Our firm is seeking a Law Clerk with an interest in immigration law to assist in the business unit of our Encino, California office. Under the direction of an Attorney, Law Clerks will become familiar with the laws related to employment-based immigration and will also prepare federal litigation documents. We work with a wide variety of interesting clients representing employers and foreign workers in obtaining immigration benefits. No previous immigration law experience required however, very strong Mandarin, and English writing, and research skills are imperative. Immediate start preferred.
Education: Second year or third year law school student, or recent law school graduate, or awaiting Bar results.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal arguments.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and memoranda, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal standards.
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with applicable laws.
- Assist in fraud prevention detection efforts by analyzing relevant data and documentation.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Maintain organized files and records of all legal documents for easy retrieval.
- Provide general support to the legal team as needed, including administrative tasks.
- Conducting research and drafting petitions, motions, appeals for United States Immigration service and Federal Court.

Requirements:

Skills
