Saenz-Garcia Law, PLLC is seeking an experienced bilingual Deportation Immigration Paralegal to join our team. We are a law firm of fourteen attorneys based out of DFW. As an Immigration Paralegal focusing on deportation cases, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in managing complex and high-stakes immigration matters. Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of deportation cases, from initial intake to resolution, under the supervision of immigration attorneys.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including but not limited to motions, applications, and appeals.
- Assist in preparing clients for immigration court hearings, interviews, and other proceedings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to gather necessary documentation and evidence to support their deportation defense.
- Maintain accurate case records, deadlines, and regularly update case management systems.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, court decisions, and policies related to deportation matters.
- Support attorneys in preparing for and attending immigration court hearings, interviews, and appeals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: hourly position. $26-$32 per hour dependent on experience.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal, with a focus on deportation cases. Pay will be commensurate to experience.
- Strong understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and legal procedures, particularly related to deportation defense.
- Familiarity with immigration court practices, EOIR procedures, and immigration forms (e.g., Notice to Appear, bond motions, cancellation of removal, asylum).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
