Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant with Immigration Law experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various aspects of legal work, including document preparation, research, and case management. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice and requires strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Duties

Prepare immigration case files.
Communicate with clients, collect material from clients and prepare the immigration petitions.
Assist attorneys with legal research using platforms such as Westlaw, Lexis, etc. to gather relevant case law and statutes.
Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as needed.
Conduct document review for immigration law purposes.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in the U.S. Immigration Law.
Familiarity with Docketwise or similar case management software is preferred.
Strong writing skills are essential for effective communication within the team and with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Foreign language skills are preferred.
