Seeking an experienced immigration attorney who is bilingual (Spanish/English) to provide services to clients. Must be mature, organized, and willing to work quickly and multi-task. Must be interested in the deportation and family-based aspects of immigration law. Seeking a self-starter who is willing to work to build a positive relationship with client and staff. Partnership potential. Duties may include: Heavy client contact, petition and form preparation, motion and exhibit filing, attending hearings and interviews at USCIS/EOIR with clients, client preparation for hearings intereviews. Attorney will be expected to provide extensive follow up with clients and be able to properly advise clients what is needed for hearings and interviews and aide in preparation for trial. Attorney will also put together packets for filing. The attorney will follow up extensively with detained clients and agencies and advocate for clients at credible fear interviews. Requires knowledge of deportation, adjustment of status, I-601A waivers, Naturalization cases, Asylum, Cancellation, Waivers, and more. Room for growth. Must be a self-starter and independent learner who would like to learn about the field and help others.
