Full-Time, On-Site/Remote Position

The Law Offices of Karen S. Monrreal is looking for a Bilingual Immigration Attorney to join our passionate team in Reno, Nevada. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule, combining both on-site and remote work. Our firm is dedicated to advocating for immigrants' rights and supporting survivors of gender-based violence. Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated, client-centered attorney with the following qualities:

Client-Centered Advocacy: Demonstrates compassion, listening skills, and a commitment to protecting clients' rights, especially survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Cultural Competency: Proficient in working with diverse, multilingual immigrant populations, adapting legal strategies to meet clients’ unique needs.

Tenacity and Problem-Solving Skills: Able to handle complex, fast-paced immigration cases with a focus on delivering creative solutions for clients.

Team-Oriented: While self-motivated, the candidate must excel in a collaborative environment, supporting paralegals and other team members as needed.

Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong time management skills to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Provide direct representation in immigration matters, including family-based petitions, U and T visas, VAWA Petitions and removal defense.

Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management.

Engage in community outreach, attending public events, and representing the firm in media engagements.

Work with external partners, including social service organizations, to address clients' needs beyond legal representation.

Qualifications

Required: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, Bar admission (good standing), bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish), and federal background check. • No Experience Required – Our team is willing to train
