Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Primarily on-site to encourage collaboration and mentorship, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.

Note: Applicants must have at least 1+ year of immigration law experience, active bar admission, and the ability to independently manage immigration matters while delivering exceptional client service.

Job Description

Manage a diverse caseload of employment-based, family-based, and immigration court matters from inception through resolution.
Conduct client consultations and develop effective case strategies.
Draft petitions, applications, motions, appeals, affidavits, and supporting evidence packages.
Prepare and file matters with USCIS, EOIR, DOL, DOS, and federal courts as applicable.
Appear before immigration courts, USCIS interviews, and other proceedings when necessary.
Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the process.
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and accurate filings. Perform legal research and stay current on immigration laws and policy changes.
Manage deadlines and priorities using case management systems. Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, corporations, and other legal professionals.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Active State Bar admission required.
1+ years of immigration law experience.
Experience with family-based and employment-based immigration matters preferred.
Willingness to handle immigration court matters.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Excellent client communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with immigration case management software preferred. Additional language skills are a plus.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat.
