Carredeguas Law Firm is currently seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team. We are looking for a committed professional with a deep understanding of immigration law and a strong desire to support immigrant communities through competent and compassionate legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in removal proceedings

– Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications including adjustment of status, asylum, family-based petitions, TPS, VAWA, waivers, parole, and employment authorization

– Draft and review legal documents including motions, briefs, client declarations, and supporting evidence

– Represent clients before USCIS and EOIR (Immigration Court)

– Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

– Participate in client consultations and case evaluations

– Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status

– Ensure timely and accurate filing of all applications and legal documents

– Maintain organized and up-to-date case files

Minimum Requirements:

– Juris Doctor (JD) degree and license to practice law in any U.S. state (Florida preferred)

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law

– Strong knowledge of removal defense, family-based immigration, and humanitarian relief

– Excellent written and oral communication skills

– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines

– Must be fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus

– Must be available to work in person at our Miramar office

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Immigration Law and various Immigration Issues
Experience with Visas and other Immigration-related legal processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in Legal Issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse client populations
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar
Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Attorney at Gladys Carredeguas Law Firm, PLLC located in Miramar/Pembroke Pines, FL. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for managing a variety of immigration-related legal matters including, but not limited to, advising clients on immigration issues, preparing and filing visa applications, representing clients in immigration court, ensuring compliance with relevant immigration laws, and providing legal counsel on other complex immigration cases. Day-to-day tasks will involve client consultations, document preparation, legal research, and representation of clients in legal proceedings.
