Attorney (New York)

Job Description:

Law firm in Flushing, NY, we are a busy, well established law firm. We are looking for a attorney (bilingual preferred but not necessary) to assist our law firm. We handle all aspects of civil and immigration cases.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Provide legal representation to individuals on civil and immiration matters including representation in court appearances.

· Conduct thorough consultations with clients and make appropriate referrals to outside agencies.

· Supervise the work of paralegals in recordkeeping and document preparation.

· Preparing documents (Scan, Copy, Upload) in client’s file.

· Managing legal documentation and correspondence confidentiality.

· Drafting motions, orders, judgments and status updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Admission to the bar in the state of New York which you need to practice.

· At least 3 years of experience or expertise is required.

· Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

· Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to multi-task.

· Work independently, and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent bilingual verbal communication skills between clients and attorneys.

· Have work authorization in United States.

· Only NY office is seeking the position.
