Required Qualifications:

Experience 3 + years of experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English (able to speak, write, understand, and read at a professional level in both languages).
Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English and professional demeanor.
Strong understanding of U.S. immigration law and procedures, including experience with family-based immigration, Humanitarian visas, and consular processing.
Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and meet deadlines.
Strong command of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file immigration petition and applications, including family-based and humanitarian immigration cases.
Conduct initial client intake interviews to gather information and documents necessary for filing.
Draft, proofread, and edit various legal documents, including affidavits, petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and update case management systems.
Communicate with clients, government agencies (e.g., USCIS, NVC, EOIR), and other stakeholders to gather information, follow up on pending cases, and provide case status updates.
Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in immigration law and policy.
Prepare and compile documentation for attorney review for court proceedings, interviews, and other legal processes.
Track deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all timelines are met.
Assist in preparing for immigration court hearings, including assembling exhibits, organizing documents, and preparing hearing briefs.
Translate documents and interpret client communications when necessary (if bilingual).
Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
