THE POSITION:

W&O' currently has an immediate full-time opening at its Orange office for an experienced Employment-Based Immigration Associate Attorney. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional to gain meaningful experience and advance their career with a well-established firm in the Orange area. In this role, the Associate Attorney will report directly to the Department Chair, manage their own caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate closely with our Immigration Team, including attorneys and case managers.

LOCATION:

The ideal candidate will be working full-time from our Orange office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires completion of a Juris Doctorate program at an accredited U.S. Law School and admission to a U.S. state bar.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent writing skills
One year of Employment Immigration Law experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments
Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions
Prepare and submitting legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases
Correspond and/or meet with clients to gather documents and information and to guide them through various visa processes.
Use case management system/database, various firm systems, and project management skills to monitor case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet both legal and client-relations deadlines.
Exercise meticulous attention to detail to produce error-free forms, correspondence, and related legal work product.
Prepare and represent clients at government interviews.
Other tasks as required to meet client, Managing Attorney, and firm needs.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
