The Law Office of Suzanne Trail is a removal defense immigration law firm located in Sacramento, but the job requires travel to San Francisco, Sacramento, and Concord EOIR courts for asylum immigration cases. Currently, there is only one attorney with staff, but we are looking to hire another attorneys. The preferred canidate would have experience in removal defense and a team player. Efficiency or knowledge of a foreign language is not required.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney to join our legal team. As an Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and drafting legal forms.

Responsibilities:

- Draft and review legal documents, including forms, court filings, and immigration related documents

- Represent clients in court proceedings.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies

- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' interests

- Provide legal administrative support as needed

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to practice law in a jurisdiction, as well as admitted to the EOIR courts

-Experience in asylum removal defense, including master and merits hearings

- Ability to draft motions, briefs, etc.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
