EB-3 Immigration Coordinator

The Immigration Coordinator supports the immigration process for international nurses transitioning to work in the U.S. The nurses have worked incredibly hard to make this journey to the U.S. possible and your role is critical in helping them achieve their dream. This role includes preparing I-140 petitions, handling important documents such as green cards and social security cards, providing notary services, filing prevailing wage requests, and coordinating posting notices with hospitals. The Immigration Coordinator ensures all processes comply with U.S. immigration laws while providing an excellent experience for our nurses.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit I-140 petitions, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
- Collect and process essential documents, including green cards and social security cards.
- Maintain organized immigration records and ensure proper document filing.
- File posting notices and prevailing wage requests.
- Work with our international team to improve the document collection process.
- Check, scan and file mail daily.
Qualities that Will Lead to Success:
- 3+ years of experience in administration, paralegal, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience handling multiple files.
- High attention to detail and enjoyment of completing tangible and repetitive tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Discretion with handling sensitive information.
- Notary certification is a plus.
- Anticipated schedule of 5 days and 35-40 hours per week, in-person in our Austin office.
Travel:
Minimal travel is required, though twice a year attendance at training or team meetings will be necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $550,000.00 per year
