ImmiGration Attorney
ImmiVisa Law Group is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing team on a full-time, fully remote basis.
We are looking for an attorney with solid employment-based immigration experience, particularly with EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and/or EB-3 PERM matters. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing immigration cases, communicating with clients, working collaboratively with case managers, law clerks, and other attorneys, and taking ownership of assigned matters from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide legal guidance on employment-based immigration matters.
- Review and analyze client information, supporting documentation, and case strategies.
- Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, legal briefs, petition cover letters, support letters, and other legal documents related to immigration matters, and supervise their preparation when appropriate.
- Handle primarily EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and/or EB-3 PERM cases, with opportunities to work on other employment-based immigration matters, including nonimmigrant work visa cases.
- Review forms, legal documents, supporting evidence, and petition packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on relevant USCIS regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, documentation, status, and next steps.
- Supervise Case Managers and Law Clerks.
- Provide legal feedback and direction to case support staff.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely preparation and filing of cases.
- Identify potential issues or risks and recommend appropriate legal strategies.
- Maintain accurate and organized case records.
- Stay informed about changes in U.S. immigration law and USCIS policies affecting employment-based immigration.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Experience practicing U.S. immigration law, particularly employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant immigration.
- Demonstrated experience with EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and/or EB-3 PERM cases.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and USCIS procedures.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with technology and cloud-based case management and communication tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa matters.
- Experience with PERM labor certification, including recruitment and PERM filing requirements.
- Experience preparing NIW and EB-1A/EB-1B petitions.
- Experience working in a high-volume immigration law firm or similar environment.
- Experience supervising or mentoring Case Managers, Law Clerks, or other legal support staff.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
