Manta Search is representing a close-knit boutique practice where everyone knows every case and every client. Without the layers of a large firm, paralegals here have real ownership, direct access to attorneys, and visible impact on outcomes. The team is collaborative, detail-obsessed, and genuinely invested in the people they represent.
What Success Looks Like
Twelve months in, you'll be independently managing a caseload of active matters, preparing filings that need minimal attorney revision, and serving as a trusted point of contact for clients who know their case is in good hands.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and file employment-based and family-based petitions and applications (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, I-140, I-485, N-400) with USCIS, DOL, and DOS
- Manage a caseload end-to-end: intake, document collection, drafting, filing, RFE responses, and status tracking through adjudication
- Draft support letters, forms, and supporting documentation for attorney review
- Communicate directly with clients to gather documents, provide status updates, and set expectations on timelines
- Monitor deadlines, priority dates, visa bulletin movement, and expiration dates across the caseload
- Maintain accurate case files and data in the firm's case management system
- Stay current on USCIS policy changes, filing fee updates, and procedural shifts that affect pending matters
What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of immigration paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house immigration team
- Hands-on experience preparing immigration filings from start to finish

- Strong written communication; able to draft clear, well-organized support letters
- Ability to manage competing deadlines across a high-volume caseload without dropping details
- Must have PERM experience
Preferred:
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree
- Experience with immigration case management software (e.g., INSZoom, Docketwise, LawLogix)
- Bilingual fluency relevant to the firm's client base
- Experience responding to RFEs and NOIDs
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Health benefits and paid time off
- A tight-knit team environment with direct mentorship from attorneys
