About the Role
We are seeking a bilingual Immigration Attorney to join our Dallas office. The attorney will manage a caseload involving removal defense, asylum, bond matters, family-based petitions, naturalization, and related USCIS proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Conducting client consultations and developing case strategies
- Representing clients before USCIS and immigration courts
- Preparing motions, briefs, applications, and supporting evidence
- Handling master calendar, bond, and individual merits hearings
- Managing deadlines and maintaining accurate case records
- Communicating regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy
- Supervising and collaborating with paralegals and support staff
- Monitoring changes in immigration law and procedure
Qualifications
- Active license and good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
- Experience practicing U.S. immigration law
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, naturalization, and USCIS procedures
- Strong legal research, writing, and case-management skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Strong client communication and courtroom advocacy skills
- Commitment to serving immigrant communities
Preferred Skills
- Experience representing clients before EOIR
- Experience handling bond and individual merits hearings
- Ability to independently manage removal proceedings
- Prior experience supervising paralegals or legal support staff
Pay range and compensation package
The anticipated salary range is $115,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience. Attorneys who can independently manage removal proceedings, bond hearings, and individual merits hearings will be considered at the upper end of the range. Additional compensation flexibility may be available for exceptionally qualified candidates with substantial EOIR and courtroom experience.
