What You'll Create and Do
As a US Immigration Law Clerk, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality immigration services to multinational organizations and their employees. Working under attorney supervision, you will manage complex employment-based immigration matters, provide strategic case support, and contribute to an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of employment-based immigration matters, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of petitions and applications.

Draft and prepare complex nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM labor certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, and adjustment of status applications.

Serve as a trusted resource for clients by responding to inquiries, providing case updates, and helping navigate immigration processes and requirements.

Review work products for quality and compliance while mentoring and supporting the development of junior Business Immigration Analysts and team members.

Collaborate with attorneys, colleagues, and stakeholders to develop practical solutions for complex immigration matters.

Contribute to the management of client programs, including reporting, case tracking, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives.

Lead or participate in special projects focused on operational excellence, innovation, and service delivery enhancements.

Stay current on evolving immigration laws, regulations, agency guidance, and industry trends and apply that knowledge to client cases and internal best practices.

Leverage technology, automation, and data-driven insights to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience.

Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and thoughtful recommendations.

Qualifications Required Experience

3+ years of experience in US employment-based immigration, including preparation of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions.

Strong working knowledge of US business immigration processes and government filing procedures.

Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and colleagues at all levels.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or provide guidance to junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience supporting large corporate immigration programs and multinational clients.

Experience participating in process improvement, operational excellence, or technology adoption initiatives.

Familiarity with case management systems, reporting tools, and technology-enabled service delivery models.

Interest in leveraging digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance client service and operational efficiency.

Additional Information
Regular/Full-Time
This is a hybrid position requiring regular in-office presence in one of our Canadian offices located in Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of one of these office locations. Hybrid work arrangements are based on business and client needs and may vary by team and location.
Compensation Salary Range: $48,000 – $105,000 CAD
Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, years of relevant experience, level of education, and overall qualifications.
