We are a full-service immigration law firm in White Plains, NY, seeking a highly skilled Immigration Paralegal with extensive experience handling Family Court proceedings for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Immigration Court proceedings involving asylum and cancellation of removal, USCIS matters (including waivers, U visas, and T visas), and consular processing for immigrant visas.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of these immigration processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with both clients and team members. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
This is a full-time position based in our White Plains office.
Responsibilities:
- Draft Family Court petitions for custody and guardianship for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases.
- Prepare and file EOIR-42B applications, Form I-589 applications, motions, and evidentiary submissions with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
- Prepare and file VAWA petitions, waiver applications, and T and U visa applications with USCIS.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to immigration law, procedures, and country conditions.
- Assist attorneys with document collection and case preparation for Immigration Court hearings and USCIS interviews.
- Communicate with clients to provide case updates and answer questions regarding the immigration process.
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is organized, complete, and up to date.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of three years of experience as an immigration paralegal, with a focus on removal defense, Family Court custody and guardianship petitions for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), VAWA petitions, waivers, and T and U visas.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Pay: Up to $67,000.00 per year
