About the team:
The Business Immigration practice is led by a senior practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience in global mobility strategy and complex immigration matters, with Chair-level experience within AILA. The team functions as a tightly coordinated, high-performance unit where strategy, execution, and client experience are integrated with speed and precision.
What you'll do:
- Engage directly with corporate clients and foreign national employees to respond to inquiries and support consultations
- Support case intake, strategy development, and petition structuring across a range of visa categories
- Assess eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa pathways, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2 (NIW), and EB-5, in collaboration with attorneys.
- Draft, prepare, and manage end-to-end immigration petitions with precision and accountability
- Work inside AI-assisted case management tools, flagging patterns, surfacing insights, and helping streamline petition workflows
- Collaborate on internal legal tech initiatives, including AI-driven product development and process automation projects
- Communicate case updates clearly and proactively to clients and internal teams
- Maintain and update client profiles; identify emerging case opportunities and strategic next steps
- Provide cross-functional support where immigration insight adds value
This role is built for you if you are:
- Experienced in business immigration (3 to 5 years), with hands-on ownership of H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1, NIW, and/or EB-5 petitions
- Comfortable, or genuinely curious, working alongside AI tools that assist with drafting, document review, and case tracking
- Someone who thrives with client ownership, not just backend drafting
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment without losing precision
- Detail-oriented at the task level, but also capable of thinking strategically about case architecture
- Interested in how legal services are being redesigned through technology, automation, and operational innovation
- Looking for long-term growth in a modern, cross-functional firm, not just a paralegal desk

Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of U.S. business immigration experience (required)
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage a full caseload
- Comfort with legal tech platforms and an adaptive mindset toward new tools, including AI-driven ones
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams
