Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Immigration Attorney based in Sacramento, CA. The Immigration Attorney will provide expert legal guidance and representation on immigration matters, including assisting clients with visa applications, handling complex immigration issues, and working on relevant cases. Daily responsibilities include preparing legal documents, meeting with clients to understand their needs, researching legal precedents, and representing clients in legal proceedings. The role requires excellent legal knowledge, client service skills, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Immigration Law, including knowledge related to defensive asylum, visas and immigration issues
Experience handling immigration cases, including client consultations and legal document preparation
Knowledge of legal issues relevant to immigration and an understanding of regulatory frameworks
Ability to manage a diverse client caseload effectively with excellent organizational skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills for working with clients, colleagues, and court officials
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar
Proven ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
Multilingual skills are a plus
Passion for immigration law and a commitment to serving the needs of diverse communities
